The seminar detailed aspects of starting a law practice such as: selecting an office location, buying equipment, ordering stationary, signage and business cards, advertising in telephone books and on the Internet, the importance of having a mentor, handling the first case, practical aspects of running your own law practice, making more money than you spend, marketing your practice, etc. In addition, Jinks offered great tips regarding how to make it work "from day one".
About 140 lawyers attended Jinks' seminar, with quite a few earning CLE credits via webcam. This is the third time Jinks has presented this material at the Utah State Bar and his reviews continue to be extremely positive.
